Unique And Cheap Ideas That You Can't Miss In Bangkok

I’ll be honest, Bangkok isn’t a city I fell in love the first time around. I flew in to  Suvarnabhumi Airport warming up to start my first solo backpacking journey, excited of all the possibilities and adventures that awaited ahead. I hopped into a taxi and headed straight to the backpacker hotspot of Khaosan Road to hook up with other like minded traveller souls. To my shock, I had my phone stolen by a sly pickpocket the moment I arrived. I ended up spending two days moping around my hostel over all the lost photos and memories the phone had carried. There’s always something new to discover, little bits and pieces here and there, that makes the city unique and exciting. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere.

In this section we’re sharing our favorite things to do in Bangkok as well as our experience and tips how you can make your visit so much more enjoyable. Whether it’s your first time traveling in Thailand (yin-dii-krap!), or you’re ready to explore Bangkok’s deeper hidden layers, you’ll surely find some unique activities that’ll tickles your fancy. And best of all, most of these are light on your wallet.
